It’s not often Eat to the Beat
are asked to cater for a show that’s stars are 8 larger than life
animatronics characters, and in the best traditions of rider secrecy,
everyone declined to comment on what Milo, Jake, Bella and Fizz
ate for dinner!
Eat to the Beat provided crew and ‘artists’ catering for the series
of shows at four arenas across the UK starting in Braehead Glasgow
Ice Arena. This was the most logistically challenging venue for
the catering team, headed by Heather Crewdson and Paul Traynor,
as they worked out of a PKL temporary kitchen, meaning they had
to carry the food a considerable distance to the dining area. All
food was prepared on Eat to the Beat flight cased kitchen equipment,
which became easier in Birmingham NIA, Sheffield Arena and Wembley
Arena where the kitchens were sited backstage.
