New sales director for De Boer Structures UK

John Cochrane, former Director of Special Events at De Boer Structures UK, has re-joined the company as Sales Director.
John spent five years with De Boer from 1993 to 1998 in his first spell with the company when he was responsible for many of their major sporting projects.
Married with two children John, who lives at Bodicote, near Banbury, worked in various roles within the events and furniture hire industry before accepting his new position with De Boer.
Theo den Bieman, Managing Director of De Boer UK, described the appointment as ‘marvellous news’ for the company. He said: “John has vast experience within the events industry and is the ideal person to spearhead our sales team and ensure we maintain our position as market leaders.”
John said: “I am delighted to be re-joining De Boer. I consider the last five years away from the company as being part of my external training and am looking forward enormously to this exciting new challenge. A lot has happened to De Boer while I have been away. It is a much more prosperous, professionally run company with the best equipment within the event industry. De Boer has masses of potential.”
Meanwhile one of the most familiar faces at De Boer, Account Director Oliver Newin, has left the company after six years to take up the position of Commercial Director at Specialist Structures where he will be heading up a new division.
Mr den Bieman said: “De Boer’s structures appear at many of the world’s premier sporting events and Oliver has played a key role in developing our activities in this important market. We wish him all the very best for the future.”
