Thorns unveils new products at National Venue Show |
| |
Thorns Group will be launching a number of new products at the National Venue Show, which takes place at Birmingham’s NEC between 9-11 September 2003.
The group, which is a single source supplier of services and equipment to the events, exhibitions and conference sectors, has chosen to officially unveil a number of its new products. Around 5,000 visitors are expected to attend the event.
Visitors to the group’s stand — situated at L71 — will get the first glimpse of the company’s new Cologne range of upmarket black leather unit seating. Thorns will also be unveiling its new range of cane furniture and new line of literature dispensers and racks. Other items being highlighted will include the company’s popular and exclusive Lunar Bar, which is a highly polished copper circular bar. It consists of eight curved sections, supplied separately to create a full circle, semi-circular or smaller feature bar.
After making their show debuts, the items will become part of the group’s extensive range of furniture available for hire. The group boasts an impressive stock of more than a million items, including chairs, tables, china, cutlery, glassware, silverware and linen.
Away from the stand, visitors will get a chance to see more of the group’s stock on show in the exhibition’s hospitality areas. Thorns is supplying a range of lounge and bistro furniture to the exhibition’s restaurant areas and furnishing the Organisers Office with all of the necessary desks and chairs.
Thorns Group’s Commercial Director Rob Shepherd is particularly looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s show. He said: “The National Venue Show provides us with a great platform to showcase our extensive range of products and services as it is attended by such a wide spectrum of people including professional conference and exhibition organisers, venue managers plus corporate hospitality and event planners.”
Thorns Group operates through four divisions — Thorns Furniture and Catering Hire, Camden Special Events, Camden Exhibition Services and Classic Technical Services. The group also serves the Midlands, Scotland and north of England through offices in Birmingham and Manchester. |
